Shipping Policy

For your safety and quality assurance we only ship priority mail.

The post office assures us that most deliveries are made within 2 - 3 business days.

We only ship Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday’s. We delay shipment later in the week so products are not subject to a holding area for the weekend.

 Ice Charges - There will be a $1 charge for shipping ice with the package to keep product cool. This will only occur if the coordinates for the delivery are approximately 72 degrees or warmer.

We feel this is the best choice for several reasons…..

  • We want our products to reach you as soon as possible.

  • When the warm weather hits, we pack our chocolates and meats on ice or dry ice. Time is an issue.

  • With time being a concern, this is the cheapest route to use and the packages are delivered in a timely fashion.

  • We don’t want our products being pushed back or held in a holding area. We don’t know the conditions of these holding areas.(bugs, rodents, and temps)

  • We will charge $1.00 to your order if we need to ship with an ice block. (Temps above 72 degrees). We do not issue refunds on items that melt in transit. We strongly recommend that you purchase ice on any order that is going to weather 72 degrees or higher.

  • We will charge you the market price for the dry ice that’s needed for your dry ice shipment. This only applies to meat purchases.

Holiday Shipping

We will continue the above polices up until the last 2 weeks before Christmas.

At that time we will ship daily.

Order Status

We try to ship all orders within 3 business days. However from time to time we do run into out of stock items. In these cases we ship as soon as our deliveries come in.

You will receive an e-mail when your order has been received and when your order is shipped.

      How We Calculate Shipping and Processing Charges For Your Order

            Our shipping and processing charges are assessed to cover costs incurred by

Back To The Country Store for services provided that allow our customers to order via our web site or phone orders. These costs are as follows; packaging supplies, customer service, shipping and processing orders and expenses of maintaining the web services.

We estimate your shipping and processing charges as you place your order.

Some times items may require additional shipping charges due to weight, size, or destination. If your order needs additional charges we will contact you with the information and wait for your approval before charging and shipping your order.

 

Returns / Exchange Policy

Every item is carefully inspected before shipping. If  products are defective or damaged upon receipt please contact us immediately. All claims must be made within 3 days of receiving your order or 5 days from our shipping date. Returned products must be in original and unopened packaging for an exchange. A copy of your invoice must accompany your order. Shipping charges are not refunded. You will be responsible for return shipping charges and insurance (if you choose to insure).

If items are missing from your order you must notify Back To The Country Store within 3 days of receiving your order or 5 days from our shipping date.

Items lost in or mis-delivered must be claimed to Back To The Country Store within 3 days of scheduled delivery date. Any claims made after 3 days will be refused and no charges will be credited.We will contact the United States Postal Service to track your delivery.

Items damaged in transit will be replaced within 3 business days after they are returned to our store. We do file claims on damaged items so please save all boxes, packages, ect.  We will need these items back for your claim. All claims need to be made within 3 days of received order. Any claims after this time will not be replaced.
